How to Upgrade up to Android 2.2

Item Contents Remark: Upgrade Prerequisites
Battery: The battery level shall be no less than 60%.
Micro SD card: 512MB at least
PC: For copying the upgrade file onto MicroSD
File list: U8500V100R001C128B731

Normal Procedure for Upgrade:
1. Format micro SD card or delete its content. Make sure you back-up your required/personal files first;
2. Copy & Paste the downloaded files/folders named as “dload” and “S_Dload” onto the root/main/landing folder of Micro SD.
3. Insert micro SD card in the handset (In case you had used a Card Reader previously to format and copy files), turn the handset ON & enter “Menu” interface.
4. Operate as follows:Settings→SD Card & phone storage→Sofware Upgrade→SD Card→Upgrade→Confirm
Up-gradation will proceed & complete.
Forced Download Process:
1. Format micro SD card or delete its content. Make sure you back-up the required/personal files first.
2. Copy & Paste the downloaded files/folders named as “dload” and “S_Dload” in the root/main/landing folder of Micro SD.
3. Insert micro SD card in the handset (In case you had used a Card Reader previously to format and copy files)
4. Press & Hold “End key + Volume up Key + Power Key” (3 keys all-together),
5. After upgrade completion, the handset will power off automatically.

  1. it is showing 'the upgrade package is not detected' but i copied and pasted downloaded files/folders in the root of the micro sd card...now what to do plz help me
